Thanks for sharing this beautiful photo with us. The photos below were taken in a parking lot about 1000 ft down the path from your spot toward Fort Mason, just aimed to different direction. 
I was lucky to get that shot simply because I was in the right place at the right time.
I am still taking pictures and have a long way to go before I can photograph.
