Alberta, and the eastern side of British Columbia as well, are both beautiful and grand,
with majestic mountains, snow-capped peaks, mighty glaciers, breathtaking water falls, brilliantly blue
lakes, soothing natural hot springs, glacier-fed rivers, emerald valleys, picturesque small towns, and gentle rolling countryside
and endless grassland sparsely dotted with farms.
In early August this year, I traveled to the Canadian Rockies for a ten-day family vacation,
visiting Banff, Lake Louise, Jasper, and Calgary, in addition to the Glacier National Park in Montana, USA.
In Alberta's Bow Valley, there are three national parks (Banff, Jasper, and Yoho, which is actually in British Columbia on the west side of the Canadian Rocky Mountain).
I will post more photos that I took in other areas when I have time.
Thanks!
