Polynesian Culture Center - Hawaii [复制链接]

Polynesia islands are the islands in Pacific Ocean, with Hawaii at the northern apex, Aotearoa in the southwest and Easter Island in the southeast. There are over 30 different groups of Polynesian people living within these islands.

Tonga, Fiji, Marguesas, Aotearod and Samoa are the major countries in Polynesia islands.

Polynesian Culture Center in Hawaii shows the traditional Polynesian life style, habitats and hospitality. The polynesian center has several major villages, includes Tonga, Tahiti, Fiji, the Marguesas, Aotearod and Samoa. Here are some pictures I took before to share with you...

This is the place that Chief person of Fiji lived with his wife.

    This was Chief's bed. Chief slept on the bed. His wife normally slept on the ground.

     This was one of the doors.  Wives and servents were only allowed to come in and out from certain doors. There were penalities for wrong door entering.
