拜高科技所赐，今天我们的生活真是越来越方便。
从最早的电话，电视，到电脑，手机还有GPS.。。。
以前没有GPS，开车看地图还真是辛苦，
迷路找不到要找的地方那是常有的事。
现在有了GPS，生活又向前迈了一大步！
然而，任何东西有好的一面也会有不好的一面。
最近收到朋友email来的一个邮件，看过后，
赶紧按邮件上的建议更改了我的GPS上面的资料.
俗话说；“好东西要与好朋友分享”，
我将这封邮件的中英文贴在这里，希望有GPS的朋友也会提高警觉。
This gives us something to think about with all
our new WORLD OF electronic technology. GPS
A couple of weeks ago a friend told me that
someone she knew had their car broken into while
they were at a football game. Their car was parked on the
green which was adjacent to the football stadium and
specially allotted to football fans. Things stolen from the
car included a garage door remote control, some money and a
GPS which had been prominently mounted on the dashboard.
When the victims got home, they found that
their house had been ransacked and just about everything
worth anything had been stolen.
The thieves had used the GPS to guide them to
the house. They then used the garage remote
control to open
the garage door and gain entry to the house. The thieves
knew the owners were at the football game, they knew what
time the game was scheduled to finish and so they knew how
much time they had to clean out the house. It would appear
that they had brought a truck to empty the house of its
contents.
Something to consider if you have a GPS -
don't put your home address in it. Put a nearby address
(like a store or gas station) so you can still find your way
home if you need to, but no one else would know where you
live if your GPS were stolen.
当我们拥有世界高科技的GPS的时候，我们真的要好好的想一想。
一位朋友告诉我；她的一对邻居在体育场看足球赛时他们的车子被偷了.
当时他们是将车子停放在邻近足球场开放给球迷们停车的草坪上，
车子被偷时车内有：家里车库门的遥控器，有一些钱，还有安装在车内的GPS！
当这对受害人回到家后发现。他们家所有值钱的东西被一扫而空！
原来，小偷利用车上的GPS,一路顺利的到了被害人的家，
再用车库遥控器将车库的门打开，再进入他们的家。
小偷们知道屋主在足球场看球赛，他们也知道球赛大约会在什么时候结束。
（一般的球赛都有电视和收音机在现场转播），
而这样的时间是足够让小偷们开来一辆大货车，将受害人家的物品搬个精光的。
当你拥有GPS时，你要特别小心，请不要将家里的地址输入进去
（我的GPS上有一栏是“HOME”，而我真的是将我家的地址输入进去的，实在是有够笨！），
你可以输入住家附近的商店或加油站的地址，这样你仍旧可以很容易的找到家，
而最好的是，万一你的GPS（车子）不幸遭窃，但却没有人（小偷）会知道你住在什么地方。
车子上面的保险单，可以把地址涂掉。
高科技会帮助我们的生活更加的方便，但一个不小心也会让我们后悔莫及。
多一份思考，多一点智慧会让我们住的安心，出行顺利！
