Lake Louise will definitely be more pristine after the first snow of the year. However, please keep
in mind that the days are very short in the fall and winter while in the summer the sun does not
set in Banff until almost 10:00Pm. I am not certain about the colors of the fall foliage there
because most of the trees in the area are conifers.
